Update:
Now that the holidays are over, I had some time to remove this from the car.
Reason for selling is simply that I'd rather have the car completely stock. (It was installed by the previous owner.)
Thanks,
Brock

Just a heads up: aFe kits are not very popular here, they lose HP in almost every case on the E60, most that bought them early on actually ended up returning them.
It seems to be a polarizing topic. My ad was temporarily hijacked on another forum between some saying the kit is great and others saying the kit isn't. I've even had more than one person tell me how bad the kit is then try to buy it!
I can say my car did not get faster when I put the factory air boxes back on. I have no incentive to give the kit away. It's not hurting me sitting on the shelf, and I might want to reinstall it if I later change my mind about modifying the car.

Us N54 guys really like the aFe intakes! GLWS!
I've had a lot of interest in this, but the sticking point has been price. I'm firm on clearing $400 whereas every potential buyer has been firm on the same price with shipping included. While not heavy, it is a big box.
I'm traveling from Oklahoma to central Florida in about 3 weeks, and then from OK to Austin, TX in early June. I'm happy to deliver for the $400, so long as the place and time works with my route and schedule.
And it's still available shipped to anywhere in the continental US for $450. If shipping is less, I'll refund the difference. If it's more, I'll eat the extra cost.

I will be at COTA in June with the Lonestar BMW CCA. Come by to take a closer look at the kit there. Brown Tundra, white enclosed trailer, Silverstone M5. I expect to be in the paddock. I had a garage reserved but just offered to give it up. Apparently a recent fire affected several garages, and they are running short on space.
Happy to provide my cell number by PM or email if you plan to swing by. Please let me know in advance, or I may not have the phone by me.
