the sport springs on cars with sport package are 0.7" lower than e60s without sport package.. so it would be a 0.7" drop with those oem sport springs.

Thanks for the reply...I just got my 2007 530i less than two weeks ago and am excited do something already to it. Wasn't sure what the drop was because all BMW site says "suspension calibration" and doesn't state if it lowers the car or just gives it the same ride height with different spring rate and/or dampening levels.

Couple of concerns...Is the shock/struts different with the sport package? I am really interested in these and was just wondering if I am going to regret getting these(not low enough) as opposed to Pro-kit (want to lower the car but worried about rubbing in rear) as well. My worries are that I will be my transfering my sub-box from my STI and it weighs about 40-50lbs and I do carry passengers often (mainly wife and baby and crap(strollers, bag)), and my only other mod is going to be Beyern 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 9.5 wheels in the rear.

Thanks in advance

The shocks/struts are different but it's debatable if it will make a huge difference. A lot of people on thi board put in the H&R springs and keep the factory shocks/struts. I think the consensus is they will wear out a little faster but you shouldn't have a major problem since the factory sport springs aren't lowring your car nearly as much as the H&R will.

Hi,

I am very interested in the springs. is it possible you post a picture of the springs and the id? I have a 525i and is urgently looking for a V6 sports spring to lower my car.

Thanks.
