Hey,
I finally pulled the trigger and got the rear lights. I got them at a discounted price but in order to actually do that, i had to buy at least 5. So I bought 6, one will go on my car tomorrow. The rest is up for grabs. I'm not sure if i'm aloud to list this or not if not, please let me know and I will delete this. Sorry.

I'll be picking my car up from bmw on Thursday or Friday. I can post pictures then.

BMW PARTS:
(1) 63-21-7-170-515: REAR LIGHT
(1) 61-12-0-432-110: CABLE SET
(1) 63-21-7-180-516: REAR LIGHT

My dealer sells these out the door including tax for $805.38

I'm trying to sell each set for $650 picked up or $680 shipped. (only in US)

I don't take paypal. (they screwed me over in the past)
Anything else is fine, I just opened a google checkout account or something.. That lets me accept all major credit cards... if theres any other sites or something, let me know. Bank transfer is fine too... money is money, doesn't make difference to me how i get it.

umm, i dont know much to say.. i have a good reputation on m3 forum (i came from a m3 to a m5) my user name there is also tightie. you can check my ebay feedback, tightie_net. i have a few buddys on the forum that can
vouch for me. if you have any questions, feel free to pm me. if you would like to speak on the phone or something, pm me and ill send you over my number.

Best Regards,
- Josh.

I'm not going to comment on your list price but I do feel you got taken for a little ride by your so called dealer. You can get the EU Spec lights all the way from Germany for much cheaper than that and the US spec lights are infact about half the price of what you bought these for.

If it comes with the adaptor cables, then this is a pretty deal. IMO

Those cables are not plug and play and will still need installs, programming and the front headlights too. Read http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=46834&hl=

hey, i did my testing with the lights.
the cable set works. the lights work.
theyre on my car and they work fine.
my car is before the 9/06 build so i have a error light. i have to buy the newer LCM and it will work without the error light.

if your build date is after the 9/06 build date, all you need is the LEDs and the bmw cable.
im just trying to help!
let me know if your still intreseted.

You are going to have to be a little more specific here.

There are people spending 1000s to get these lights working via BMW and you are saying the lights simply work using the cables that BMW provide. The last time there was information like this posted 40 people landed up buying taillights in a Group Buy only to realise that the information was not completely correct. There was other modifications etc required.

So why don't you post full step by step instructions of what you did and them some pictures of how your lights look installed.
