Well last week I finally had the rims installed and felt a very noticable vibration while driving so I took all 4 to wheels america ( a local rim repair shop) and it turns out All 4 rims were bent in several places, wheels held air and to the eye unless closely examined looked fine however wheels had very noticable shake when driving. Wheels america said they would not do the repairs and asked me to pick them up I watched as they spun both rear wheels and saw a very noticable bends on the inside of the wheel and the outer lip. From what i was told the outside lip is anodyzed aluminum which can not be properly repaired without changing the finish on all 4 lips after heating the anodyzed aluminum. I have found another shop "Wheel Fix It" that is going to do all the repairs but They are going to powder coat the lips. Chroming was going to be an additional $200 per wheel and 2 week wait minimum and seriously I dont want to sink another cent into to these wheels. I watched as they spun both rear wheels and saw a very noticable bends on the inside of the wheel and the outer lip. If the powdercoating doesnt work out then guess i will have a complete set of paper weights at a hefty price of $2100 + repair costs of $129.00 for each wheel not bad in my opinion but still money I didnt expect to have to pay. When i called EuroRev I specifically asked if the wheels were bent and was told NO! i also asked if they had ever been repaired and was told NO! I dont believe Euro Rev pulled a fast one on me but the customer who sold them to them certainly knew they were bent and Here I am in texas and cant do a thing about it...............hope they turn out ok!
