Not demeaning you status my friend. There are so many threads on here that date back to 2004 its impossible to go through them all. A lot of the old members have moved on and a lot of knowledge has gone with them. However; there are still many out here who have done some amazing things to this vehicle.

One seller even blew up at me and said that I didn't know what I was talking about and that BMW only makes one m5 rim and there is only one offset. Lastly, I emailed the Internet sales rep at this website http://www.bmwcleveland.com/sc/store...uct=70#details where I plan to purchase M5 wheels and asked what offset these were. He responded and said the offset was 12 front and 18 rear. When I asked if these were the m6 offset he had no idea what I was talking about. any suggestions?
that's becuase not all SAs are familiar with these- call Gary Romani at Newport BMW and he will give you more info.

BTW I think M6 wheels are 167, not 166.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you and the buyer but like I said, it is a steal for a set of 19" OEM 166.

Yes,
M6 comes with wheels called style 167
but it also comes with wheels of different styles

Not many people know but you can get the M6 with style 166 wheels.

When they say M6 wheel they dont mean to point at the style of the wheel (167 or 166) they mean to talk about the OFFSET. The M6 car has a different rear wheel offset when compared to the M5 cars.
I am not sure if that makes much sense, but its a fact.
