- FOR SALE TO GOOD HOME -
Wheel Brand: Maya DLS Reverse (3-piece forged)
Size: 20x9 +23 / 20x10 +23
Finish: Silver centers w/ polished lips
Bolt Pattern/Bore: 5x120 / 72.6mm
Tires: Hankook Ventus V12s (255/35R20 | 285/30R20) (The Beast is not a DD so the tires have less that 1k miles on them with ~10/32 tread)
I've only had these for a couple of months (since early August), so they are still in like new condition (except for one wheel which now has some rash - see pics below).
Reason for Sale:
For months, I was torn between mesh or 5-spoke design, and black or silver finish. When I came across these in my search, I just had to give them a try (I mean, come on, look at those lips!!!). First and foremost, I do really like the wheels - love the 5-spoke design, the finish is fantastic, and the lips look downright spectacular! I've gotten a lot more attention from the wheels than I ever expected, with compliments almost every time I took the Beast out for a spin (see some of the comments from board members: Papa got some new shoes!!!). However, all that being said, I'm just not a big fan of the 3-piece look/design and I just couldn't stop wondering what the Beast would look like with black rims (grass is always greener
). I thought about powder coating them too; matte black centers and keeping the lips polished or going with gloss black, but then I ran across a great set of black Volks and before you know it I have two sets of rims on my hands. If I could, I would keep both sets and just switch up the look ever so often, but the wife isn't too keen on the idea.
My loss is your gain and these are up for the taking! Merry early Christmas!
Price:
I paid $3K for the set but because of the rash on one wheel I'm willing to take the hit and let these go for $2250 + shipping.

I seem those wheels in person and they are beautifullll , well the whole car is impeccable. (Honest person) I did business with him before and items were as he describe them . GLWS
i've been beating my set since 2007 and theyre still running great( like new) GLWTS.

Love those wheels. I've been hawking them since before you bought them from the member here. Unfortunately I won't have that kind of cash to throw around until the first of the year (so sad 
cuz I would love to have them!). I went with the full audio system replacement (Morel Hybrids up front, Rainbow SLC in the rear, SWS 8xi's under the seats, Alpine PDX5, JL Audio 500/1, JL Audio 12W6-V2D4 in a sealed enclosure, Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2/DSP, FatMat'd trunk & door panels, and ran all new custom braided Rockford Fosgate wiring throughout...deep breath!) this year for my big money mods over wheels. So they got pushed back to 2013, but I'm sure there will be plenty to choose from when my wallet is thick again. Any picks of the Volks on the Beast??

I too am torn between black wheels or the color of these. My e60 is Mystic Blue Metallic (A07) so black wheels is almost a no-brainer. But both colors look great. That being said I would probably do what you suggested in your initial thread and have these powder coated matte black in the center and gloss black lips I can visualize these so well in black contrasting perfectly against the Mystic Blue! Are you sure you don't have a payment plan on these or layaway?
