I've been thinking of parting out my sound system and may be selling my sub and amp. The Sub is a 13.5 Inch JL W7 and the amp is a JL 1000/1 Monoblock amp. I am looking for $1,200 for the whole setup and will include the custom box and all the panels shown in the picture below. THey can be re-wrapped to any desired fabric. The box is fully custom made to specs and is ported.

This would be ideal for someone with a ski hole in their car. As everybody knows this is a monster sub and anyone who here has heard it can vouch for that.

I'm doing pick up in NYC only as it is to heavy and bulky to ship.

Also with this box there is not NASTY rattle of the trunk, as this box was built for this car....

 

Can I have it for free? I'll do the mirror fold for your car if you want...

How much does it weigh? 40 lbs? Any more pics? I have that exact amp, would you sell me just the sub and box alone? One other question how is the sound, is it clean or is it boomy cuz of the ported box. Btw I have 2 12" l7 kickers in my truck with a custome ported box with that amo running them.

 

The sub is like 60 pounds alone.. And the box is probably another 60-70.

 

How does it sound from outside? I want to get a sub but the weight scares me. Decisions decisions

 

The JL is very clear and can be tuned to anyones liking. It is a heavy sub, but there is also a difference in sound between it and other subs.. I had two L7's in my old 330Ci in a custom ported box and the JL is a better sound.

 

Im not looking to sell the sub by itself. I want to sell the whole thing together.

I have a 13.5" Jl w7 that I had in a car for only 2 months and then took it out and put it in storage....It was in a sealed tuned jl box....Let me tell you, that speaker BANGS!!!! If you want some DEEP LOUD bass this is your speaker........G/l with the sale...
