Feeler: Sports Heated Steering Wheel w/Airbag
I have a Sports Heated Steering Wheel with Airbag for sale. Bought this not too long ago and didn't realize it wont fit my car. I'm still debating on whether or not I should just retrofit it to my car or just buy the ones made for my car.
Steering wheel is in perfect condition 9 out of 10.
Airbag is BRAND NEW!
Has M-sport buttons.
This set up is made for 9/05+ E60
Asking $1100 shipped

What part would I need to buy to retrofit this?

I thought pjinca was gonna help you with the retrofit. Well, this is a hot item. You'll get the cost back. GL with the sale.
I never heard back from pjinca, besides that I need someone who has actually done this before.

Ok, I found the part: it is Coil spring (#1) http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=61&fg=35
Parts #: 61316976395 or 61316976394
I believe you need to buy the post 09/05 one then replace it with your current pre 09/05.
Better ask Pjinca who knows better than me.

This for the heating option, which my car currently does NOT have so why would I need this "coil spring"?
that is what I was told. I haven't done it yet.

no, there are 2 options for heater or not.... this coil is for attaching and fitting the steering wheels... if your coil is for pre-09/05 won't fit for post 09/05 and you need this coil from post-09/05
that is what I was told. I haven't done it yet.
