I bought a set of 124's for pretty cheap from a dude on CL and I decided to powdercoat them just for kicks. They are sand blasting them down and doing the whole nine to restore/ repair them back to mint and then powdercoating them to (this color** http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powder-coa...black-tint.html ).

I spend 8 hours in front of a computer at work everyday and I found some other 18's that I think knocked these to 2nd place for my winter setup. Im only going to buy them if I get a for sure sale on my 124's. Not lookin to make any profit, just a shuffle of money so I can pick up the ones I found. I spent 4 bills on the wheels and 600 on the PC job. SO.. Im askin for a G and I might possibly meet you half way with shipping.

Let me know

JR

Unfortunately its only for wheels. Maybe I can move down a bill, but thats just me being naive as I have really taken a liking to this other setup and want to make a sale. I'll take pics as soon as they are done. Hope I dont fall in love with them.

I guess this is for those e60 owners who want to spend a lil more money on powdercoated 124's. As mentioned before though, I spent 4 on the wheels and 6 on the job. There were tires on mounted but super nasty bald. I told the PC shop to trash them for me.

GL with sale, 400-600 for OEM/Stock color/brushed alum 124's is about right...about 1K for 124's+tires is the average around here....hopefully you'll find someone that appreciates/wants PC'd 124's and is willing to pay for it

I too am looking for a winter set of wheels based on 124s. I am not sure if I want powdercoated wheels.

Can you post pics?

Yea im pretty sure if I was back home in Cali I would have gotten a better deal, but Im pretty much a newbie here in DC/ VA area so its rough lookin for the hook. There were plenty of shops to choose from but I opted with a local mom and pops place that offers a money back/ satisfaction guarantee. Im keeping the "you get what you pay for" idea in the back of my head. =)
