I have a set of authentic hamann side skirts. I purchased these from ebay about last summer, the seller showed me pics of the skirts that were flawless and painted the same color as my car, he told me that they were on his car for 2 car shows.
But when I recieved them I could see that they were in not the condition as he described. So i went to a High end body shop and they quoted me $700 to repaint them and sand them down due to cracks in the skirts and defects that needed to be worked on before the paint went on. So i never went through with it. I got screwed big time.
So if anybody is intereted in these i will post pics and see how much I can get for them, these retail for over $1400 brand new. Im debating if i should keep them and pay the $700 to have them painted and put on my car. So let me know if you are intrested, fo rany questions or offers pm me. Thanks BIMMERTIME-07

Maybe you should get a few quotes to compare for the work instead?? Prep and paint for a whole bumper is less than what you were quoted.

 

yeah im gonna go to a different shops next week and see how much they will quote. i want to keep them, but the quote frustrated me. i will see what will happen. will post pics soon to see if thiers any interest.
