Feeler: A52 Space gray LCI M5tech front bumper Socal
I'm thinking about selling my M5tech front bumper, if I can. It's painted space grey (A52) and is for LCI models with PDC. Firstly, it doesn't fit flush. There the gap between fenders and passenger headlight. I purchased this bumper from a guy name Robert in North Hollywood. You can read the story here: https://5series.net/forums/e60-parts...r-help-127183/
I did a bunch of forum research, and I took it to an auto body to trim the foam. It fit better, but the passenger side still needs work. Guy told me that because I got into a slight accident with the stock bumper on the passenger side, I might have damaged or bent the hooks or tabs holding the bumper in place. The accident actually created the same gap on my stock bumper. You can see the scratches from the accident and slight gap here:
I truly believe that this bumper can fit perfectly for someone that knows how to make the proper adjustments or who hasn't been in an accident. If you have space gray, you're in luck. If not, strip and repaint, and you're still under OEM price and Umnitza. This gap has been haunting me since I'm an extremely particular person (I know...should have bought OEM). If I can sell this bumper for $250, I will use the cash to help buy an M-tech bumper from Umnitza, since I was planning on getting the side skirts anyways.
Here's what it looks like now. I tried to get the ugliest angles as possible:
As usual, I wrote an essay rather than a post. Please pm me if interested. Local pickup in Los Angeles only.
