Maybe in an ideal world with no potholes. But a lot of people get 245/35/20 in front and 275/30/20 in rear. Should be 245/30/20 front and 275/25/20 rear to keep the specs / rotation right, but most bump up the tire specs to do it for protection of the wheels.

You better take his (your) tires) back and refund his money or perhaps your statement will be passed on to local law enforcement for investigation as to whether you've committed a crime. I am sure that many of us here know members of local law enforcement or prosecutors in So Cal who might be interested.

Hmmm, if your VERY digruntled buyer is to be believed -- and there's no reason why he would lie about it, your statement in your post is false and is wire fraud which is a crime. Your buyer says that the inside these of tires was wore down all the way and unusuable -- a far cry from "90 percent" of tread left.
You better take his (your) tires) back and refund his money or perhaps your statement will be passed on to local law enforcement for investigation as to whether you've committed a crime. My Ride: 2008 BMW 535i Met. Deep Sea Blue w/Gray Int. 20" Forgiato Designos w/Gloss black lips and Satin centers.
Just to clear up this situation... The customer looked at the tires inspected them and approved and paid me cash on the spot. This is AS-IS deal there are no warranties. When your buying a used tire you cant expect it to be new and if you inspect something and you like it and you pay for it what can I do. I was not aware of any problems with the tires and they functioned absolutely fine when they were on my car. Im sorry you guys feel the way you do. Thank you for your time.
