Hi All,
I received a pair of M5 mirrors in Sapphire Black (Black Sapphire Metallic Option Code: 475 Model Years Available: 2004 - Current ). I swapped out the housing on my current M5 mirrors cause I wanted the full functionality of the M5 mirrors. (folding, electrochromatic, heated). My older M5 mirrors did not have these.
so up for sale are a pair of Pre-09/2005 Left hand drive, M5 mirrors, painted Sapphire Black.
The mirrors are Non Folding, and Non Electrochromatic and Non Heated.
It does retain the normal functions most of our mirrors have. The lighting below the mirrors (when unlocking and locking the car). And the right side mirror dip (when car is put in reverse the mirrors dips down to see the curb).
I will post pictures later tonight. I still have to put back the whole mirrors cause I took it apart last night to put together mine.
Please PM me for pricing.
Buyer pays for shipping. Shipping in United States only. If you are in the NYC / NJ area, you can pick it up too.
As for suggested price... I just spent about $850 on my new mirrors and my old mirrors actually cost more. I got my previous mirrors back in Late May.
I just want to break even, or close to even. So let me know if you are interested.
(*hint, if anyone says 700, its yours, but you pay for shipping*)

Update on the mirrors.
I just was about to put it back together when I saw that the base plate is actually Carbon Black (bluish black) and the rest of the mirrors is sapphire black.
Since the base is Carbon Black, and the rest is Sapphire black, the mirrors can be painted / changed either way.
Its up to the buyer to however they want to paint it.
Also it'll be cheaper obviously cause the buyer would need to paint it.

Is this the OEM M5 mirror?
I dont think I've ever seen aftermarket M5 mirrors..... If so.. I would have bought them a long time ago. heh.

I'm not inclined about OEM M5 mirrors but they don't come w/ the electrochromatic and heated options from the factory?

I bought these mirrors from Tony (Quad_M). You can ask him with which version he got. I got the full version and swapped the internals. That is why its sapphire black with a carbon black base.
