Interested just want to make sure of something does it matter if my car has been modded, (reflashed by activeautowerke) 535i? Will I still get benefits from an SB? Pretty sure I will just want to be sure since after mod the car seemed more responsive.

Yes you will...I have my ECU reflashed by Speedinnovations (Gintani) and I still use the SB. Its a HUGE difference. No hp gains, but the response is awesome. I take mine off every now and then and when I don't have it on it feels laggy. You'll know once you get it...very worth it.

No horsepower gain...the install is WAY EASY...do not pay to get it installed...all you need is an allen wrench. Where are you located?

Sounds pretty good and by the way, I'm in VA (right outside of DC). I'm going to do some reading on the SB to find out a bit more. The first thing I was trying to do was the ACS front lip, but now I'm getting concerned that if I buy a replica I'm going to need to have sanding and filling and the $$$ just seem to keep growing.

check other forums. a lot of mercedes benz guys have it and love it. that's another reason what made me get mine. plus its so simple. just need to connect it by removing the gas pedal, and there's only one screw you need to deal with with that allenwrench. literally only takes 5 minutes plug and play.

Nope it doesnt! I had an ECU flash for my car too, still, you can feel the difference!
