E60 Sirius Satellite version 2.5 (production date 09/2006) module (P/N 65209142850) & bracket for $265 picked up!!! Module is from an 07 530i. Will consider shipping for additional fee. I recently bought this from a member here, but learned about one important caveat - this will NOT work with MY05 and prior!!! There are 2 variations of the module out there. This is for newer vehicles. The wonderful folks at Century West tried to code it to my car ('04 545), but gives an invalid module message. I believe the version 2.5 units are from 3/2006 and up. Older cars will need module P/N 65126944987 or older I believe (if ayone knows where I can find that unit, please let me know). I am selling this for what I paid ( I'm still out the $70 programming fee )

Sirius XM going bankrupt? It appears imminent, not to crap on your sale. Hopefully someone will buy it up and turn the company around.

I am pretty sure that you need part number 65 12 6 948 064 for your 2004 car, as 65126944987 is now "ended." You might get lucky and pick up a used one somewhere.

Details are here:

Real OEM parts search

Contact Garry Romanni at Garry Romani, 401-847-9600 xt. 2448 for current pricing and availability. When I checked in January he quoted me $396 + $12 shipping, but the units were all on backorder.

I was going to try and use 65209142850 in my 2006 530i (08/05 build date), but based on your experience I guess that I'll try and find a used "064." So, your experience helped me out, so you got that going for you, which is nice.

+1 I started to regret my decision on the renewal for my other car, even it was only for $77.

Stop crapping on my thread Doc!!!

But, it's a valid concern. If within 6 months from the sell Sirius goes bankrupt and stops all broadcasts, I'll buy it back for $165 bucks. How's that?
