I bought this to retrofit to my 545i but sold my car soon after the steering wheel came back from Jack the re-trimmer - so it is now surplus to my requirements. Anyone who knows Jacks work will know that it is absolutely flawless and as good as if not better than an OE steering wheel!

Needless to say the leather is brand new! and has partial black nappa leather and partial perforated leather and a thicker padding to give a much nicer feel when driving.

The steering comes complete with the paddles (need to be reattached as they were removed for trimming), air bag and trims for the multifunction buttons.

I also have an M5 slip ring which is only needed by people wanting to retro-fit to a non-M vehicle, I can include in the sale for an additional sum (PM me if interested).

£499 ovno

A small price to pay for something that will transform the cockpit and overall driving experience! plus you can sell on your existing tired steering wheel to recuperate the cost. Please PM me as I do not get on her that often now that I am not an E60 owner.

I am happy for anyone in the UK to arrange a courier for collection once payment has been confirmed as received or alternatively you are more than welcome to collect from me in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

The Pics below are of the steering wheel stripped as it came back to me, the airbag, upper/lower steering trims and paddles ARE all included just not in the photo's.

Here in the UK this is what this has cost me:

£300 - used M5 steering wheel
£120 - Airbag and trims
£180 - Retrim
£60 - Slip ring

Convert that to US $ and that is nowhere near $250
I think you have maybe got this confused with a standard E60 M-sport steering wheel? If I have got this wrong then please send me links to these $250 M5/M6 steering wheels and I will buy them and sell them here in Europe for a massive profit!

The link below shows how much these steering wheels are advertised for in the US in used condition without airbag/trims:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E60-M5-M...item43a9c17c18

So as I say I am open to offers as it is of no use to me but you all know what these are worth.

if you are in fact including the air bag, the paddle shifters and the trim surround (what about the buttons/radio controls - just curious)....then this is a good deal, just not stellar. i think the conversion rate is whats killing you though. That comes to roughly $780 in US Dollars....on ebay they are not going for anywhere near $250 thats for sure....but a complete wheel with airbag included (no paddle shifters) i know a member who recently got a used one off an 08 M5 on ebay for $500 USD w/ airbag. Tisher sells this for $600 brand new but w/o an airbag so again, i think its a fair price, just not stellar. members who are interested should bite and maybe haggle a little bit

is it heated? i need to replace my M5 steering wheel or have it re-wrapped soon....

Yea what Chris said. If the entire setup is included then I suppose it's a pretty fair deal. I may have a local buddy here interested. I'll shoot him a text. Pre 06 Sport wheels are hard to find. Especially this one the that you have for an M5 w/ paddle shifters.

Lol! No mine is an m5/m6 wheel.
I think I better put it all together and take further photos to save confusion.

Ok. Now i see it, always jumping guns. For all the pieces seems like a good deal wish it could be a little better. I need a pre 09/05 steering coz my production date is 08/05. Man I want it but $800 is gonna leave a mark.
