not trying to be offended but these cg changers worth nothing. I also installed my Ipod adapter nd kept the cd changer in my garage. you would be lucky if its sold for $50.

If you don't mind, can you share some details on the ipod adapter - make, model #, whether you had to recode @ dealer etc - please?

Much appreciated.

Thanks and glws!

I have Genuine BMW ipod interface adapter. you can find me online at Bavauto.com for $315 or maybe less from a private seller. I got mine brand new for $250 shipped from a member on the forums a year ago. all u need to do is plug it instead of the cd changer and have it coded at the dealer or any independent shop who know how to do it. coding at the dealer cost me $150. I believe this is the part# 65 11 0 439 425

I think I have the same car (2006, 530I with MP3 & CD Changer, No Nav), however; two dealers gave me different parts for iPod integration.. one for 90 bucks, other 350 (one part number is Part # 65-11-0036444)...
Why is it so confusing ...
