+1 what skunkd said. For a better price, you will have to find a used one.

In the US, the adaptive brake / rear fog lights only turn on during ABS/DTC activation. Is this feature / effect lost with Bruce's cable? Will extended usage of the brake light (eg stop-and-go traffic) cause anything to overheat?

No. All functions are retained everywhere in the world.

Very cool. For a little more money - Bruce's cables seem to be the only way to go.

My V6 cables come with a full (no questions asked) 12 months warranty. I myself have been running a V6 in my car for 2 years now without a problem at all. The V6 has been in general circulation since Oct 2008 and to my knowledge every one of them out there continues to work absolutely fine. The V6 is ofcourse the sixth version of my kits, I've been doing these kits since before the LCI cars were even on the road.

The cables are 100% plug and play so if you ever needed to visit BMW without the cables attached its a 10min job to swap the lights back to the old ones.
