I just picked up the battery last night from Pacific BMW of Glendale, CA. I thought mine was 90ah 720A but it was actually 110ah 850A. I can't return the battery to them. I paid $194 +tax and will let go for $180 to anyone in SoCal. Have receipt to prove it.

Sorry. The thing is too heavy and besides, I wouldn't want to risk getting it damaged. Add to that, it's HAZMAT and can't be shipped which is why I bought it locally.

Because of this stupid "Electrical Parts not returnable" crap they have which also includes batteries. And also because I wanted to just pick up and install the battery myself.

did you try?
i'm sure they would let you exchange it to get the right one, as long as you just recently bought it and didnt install it.

Yeah I did. They wouldn't even exchange it. They would only if it was installed by them and the battery was defective.

thats sucks. i would go to them again.

on the 550 and even a 530 i seen the higher amp battery used. i wonder if any 5 series calls for that battery.

you might have better luck selling on a 3 series forum.

This battery fits various BMW vehicles. I suspect it is intended for vehicles without heated seats or cold weather packages.
