I have a brand new BMW 3 5 6 Series (E60) Video Interface with I-Drive control unit. The units were purchased from TVNav2Go. I was not able to find anyone who is familiar with the interface to install them. $475 Shipped within US.

I thought about purchasing this myself at one time. Are the instructions good enuff for you to install? Will BMW install it for you? It's a shame to take a hit like that for a unit you didn't even use. Will they take it back? Good Luck.

I don't think BMW would get involve in 3rd party accessories. It's been about 3 months since I purchased this unit. So I assume that Dom will not take it back.

I have read some of the info on the forum about the installation but I am still not brave enough to touch the screen and or computer of the car. From the info, it does not look very complicated. I am just not yet comfortable with touching the computer/nav display of the car.

This unit will only give you the video inputs. You still need a video source like a car or portable dvd player, game console, video ipod, etc.

Here's what you'll get:
The pain to install it
Might void your iDrive/monitor warranty
When you do the 6-3 (I believe it was 6-3, not sure, somebody chime in) in your iDrive knob (Move knob down and to the right side) you will get a blank screen (Since you won't have any video source hooked up)
