I got the pioneers under the seat of my 535'10 and did add the thick 1/2 inch spacer on the outer rails.. not at ease with the safety issues about having 1/2" less tread into the floor.

I bumped into another post (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352444). The guys is using the Morel 9 (ADMW SW 9" WOOFER) subs plus a 9" grill. Those subs are 2.8" or 0.3" deeper than the pioneer. It doesn't seem to be using any spacer on the rails.

Anybody experimenting with the pioneers w/o raising the seats?

I was one of the first to do this on this board. I did not raise the seat and to date I have not had any problems with the sub. Admittedly, I do not use a grill on them. At first, I lined the rail in the area with some foam weatherstripping (as shown in the picture), but I've taken the foam out as I noticed that (at least in my install) the woofer excursion in that area never hits the rail.

GhostWorks I have the pioneer subs you have and want to fit them in my 5 series. Can you still make the wood speaker cut outs? if so I would like to buy a set off you.
If you can let me know my mail address is lancedavidson85 at hotmail dot com.

Thanks

GhostWorks really loved your work and would like to have Pioneer SW841D subs in place of OEM subs under my 5 series E60 front seats. Are you still selling these spacers, if yes, then please email me at what price I can have them farooqui25 at gmail dot com, thank you.
