#13
First mod is to remove the inner fins inside the enclosure
Second Mod is to place thick washers under the outer seat rail to give the outside rail half an inch of height , or else the pioneer with touch the rail on really good bass

Hi Everyone,
I've created a template on 2D Design, to create spacers as well as 8" Rings for my under-seat Sub-woofer project which I fitting 2 x Pioneers TS-SW841D Shallow Type SubWoofer.
Attachment 114042
Attachment 114043
Attachment 114044
I can make these spacers in MDF 6mm Thick on a Laser Cutter from the template.
Attachment 114046
Attachment 114045
Is anyone interested in a set for there earthquake SW-8 or even Pioneer? PM for price and request on with you need
I've used two Spacers together + 1 8" Ring to give the Pioneer sub the right height required for the BMW enclosure ( E60 ), i'll post further pics off them together tomorrow installed in the enclosure

My Project was for the Pioneer Subs not the SW8 EarthQuakes , the SW8 is a different diameter than the pioneer so can't make one to put if i don't own the sub to compare and make spacer for ...
Yes seat has to be undone , just don't disconnect the lead to the seat . just have the seat loose and slightly lifted.
I haven't completed the project , waiting for a warm sunny day and time on my hands

man, the SW841D installation is not a walk in the park... got the right side enclosure out, made an adaptor ring with a piece of 16mm MDF. It starts to look that "it may work"
confirmed: Sub Right Red/Blue + and Brown/White -.
I will power the subs with an old Eclipse 120 WRMS amp configured for LPB.
-- by the way, 1st battery replacement
535i, 2010. Poor version of the M (M-package)
