This is not a navigation setup. This is just the regular idrive unit. Might want to change your ad.

This IS a Navigation Unit. It uses the DVD discs and displays on the screen.

I should know as I have been using it as such. All that is needed is a GPS antenna.

I believe the navigation is the larger screen size 8" not 6.5". Plus it says Mask II. That's what I had in my car before I retrofitted to the CCC (navi) unit. Maybe someone else can chime in but I'm pretty sure your unit is just regular idrive unit. Or maybe you're using your phone hooked up to have navigation.

Not sure if it's the same in the US but in the UK we have two options for Nav. Business or professional. Professional is the larger screen (which I now have , CIC) and business, the smaller screen and M-ASK II head unit. There was no phone used. I used the system for sale as fitted and intended for use by BMW using BMW nav discs in this unit. It was all factory fitted. There is a M-ASK system that is non navigation which must have been what you had.

I would not list it as a navigation unit if it wasn't one.

If you go to real OEM and enter the part number I have provided it will show you it is a navigation unit .

Yep, a much cheaper and simpler upgrade for those who want to have navigation without going the CCC or CIC route. Just plug and play.
