What did you replace it with and where did you get the replacements (I'm thinking of going alum trim)

I replaced it with the madeira trim from an M5, which I bought from a guy on m5board. The M5 doesn't get the extended wood trim below the a/c controls, so I bought the aluminum piece instead. see attached. I'm thinking i might switch that one out for the ruthenium one though, to match the trim on the steering wheel.

you can get the pieces from garry at newport, or i think roveractive has the entire set on ebay. most likely garry will have the better pricing.

OK, out of the three that offered to buy the various pieces only one has actually gone through with the sale. (I haven't been paid yet, but that was agreed to anyhow.) Are the rest of you still interested?
