Here's an email I sent to Dave at Sales@customangeleyes.com earlier today:

Hello Dave, I am an AngeliBright 1.0 owner, and an e60 forum member. While I like the color and brightness of the lamps, I have been very unhappy with the radio interference.

I think that it would be a show of good faith for people who bought your initial product (experiencing this problem without any mention of this from your company when you sold this product) to do one of two things:
1. Allow us to receive the 2.0 lamps now and return the old ones for a refund, so that we do not have to go through the tremendous hassle of removing our headlights on two separate occasions. Contradictory to your website and advertising, this is NOT an easy task for the average owner, and we do NOT want to spend additional money for a professional to do it for us.

or

2. As a show of good faith in understanding that extra time and labor is required on our end to remove our headlights twice to install the remove the 1.0 product and install the 2.0 product and in understanding that you sold us a product with a serious design flaw without any forewarning, allow 1.0 owners to receive the upgrade product for free.

Your company is now asking 1.0 owners to voluntarily spend hours of work to remove headlamp assembly twice, and spend a total of over $350 for your product, which did not work as you said it would initially.

Please reply with a response to this inquiry. I will also be posting this on the e60 forum for the other members to view.

I agree. Changing these bulbs twice is a lot of work and I'm sure the folks at Angel iBright know what we have to go through. I was in on the initial group buy and these bulbs definitely have issues. I would hope the manufacturer would do what any other company would do and let us get the replacements then return the old set for a credit. Lets see if they step up to the plate. I know if I did this with my customers I wouldn't last too long in this competetive world.

So this is a retrofit and not an exchange? How about if I come to you with my car in Danvers and you can do the swap while I wait? I go right by once a month on my way to my daughter's college,
