check out the wheels in person first. It's like I wouldn't purchase a car off craigslist without seeing it.

+1 check out the wheels in person first and also check with Nerweezy or Trinityautosport or Acutperformance they may be able to get you a better or comparable price and you'll know the wheels are real VMR. I'd prefer to go with a reputable and known vendor, especially knowing how important wheels are to the performance and safety of your car. Good luck

Caveat Emptor!! Do not buy these without actually seeing them first! And for the difference of a couple of hundred dollars, wouldn't you rather be POSITIVE that you are buying what you think you are buying??

I suggest going with one of the forum's reputable sellers as well but I also don't see anything wrong with buying them from that Craigslist add. Seems like they're a performance shop in SoCal and they're selling new wheels, not used ones. If you're ordering them from any of the other vendors on here, you don't get to see the wheels first either; but of course, you get peace of mind.

Uhm, generally, I don't think it is any worse buying from craigslist than eBay, but in a case of used rims for only a few hundred less than getting a set of new, I say get a set of new ones already
