AFEs have reported heatsoak, your best bet with proven gains are an RPI scoop paired with your K&N filter

If you mean AFE air filter, their not bad....but afe "cold" air intakes, they don't have a good reported history around here...


your K&N air filter is just fine

Are these the "hot air" intakes, or just oe filter replacements?

"Intake"= open filter (cone shaped), OE air box replacement

"air filter" = air box filter replacement, OE air box utilized

IIRC: this thread WAS for cold air intakes, from the history this product has had on this forum, there's a reason why this thread is 2 yrs old and non active. I don't even think this vendor carries AFE products anymore...

My bad, I never noticed the start date of the thread just saw the last couple replies and thought Trinity was carrying some other AFE product again...
