Yup, they're all set and installed. We both drove away with working headlights when we did the swap - was mostly just snipping wires and then tying them back together on the other car.

At least.. that's how it went for his. Mine were a little bit different, since the wires on the LCI harness were different than the ones coming out of my car. Eventually found a thread around here that showed a wire-color-to-pin# chart, which worked great. On the driver's side. The passenger side light had completely different colored wires coming out!

I eventually got that side through some trial and error. At one point it was quite funny to have my turn signal as parking lights though
All the work there was done with a pair of wire strippers and electrical tape.

I took it all apart yesterday, and re-did it properly. Soldered the wires together, wrapped each individual wire, and then wrapped the entire thing. Came out looking great!

Next thing to do is swap out the 8000k bulbs with 6000k ones, and then Orion's!

... anyone interested in my 8000k ones?

why would you want to do the Orion if you just got the LCI headlights? wouldn't going HID be much more easier and less time consuming or possibly go with that new plug and play from Lux.

BTW, do agree with you, no on 8000k. Looks nice from distance but as a driver, I think it's not as bright as the OEM one. 6000K is the best of both world IMO.

Do post some pics when you're done.

Well... I already have the Orions... Been struggling on the decision of if I want to install them or not.

From what I've been reading though.. The LCI Halogens don't use an H8 bulb for the Angel Eyes. I was poking around inside and couldn't really reach where that bulb was. I'll be looking into it a bit more... but the Orion V2's still seem to be the absolute best of the bunch. =\

I was hoping to do stuffs on Saturday/Sunday.. but with this big hurricane coming along, that plan may not be happening.

The bulb for the LCI halogen angel eyes is right there in front of you (below the high beam bulb) after you take off the little cap. Kind of hard to miss.
