2008 E61 mt6 owned since 2010 - maybe... finally selling - where - BAT - FB ? ?
Well, I still love this car. Several cross US road trip NC-WA-NC and back again as well as MN, CO, MT, etc. New tires last fall, lots of recent major services topside and oil pan.
We have too many vehicles and mostly now travel 'larger' for camping out of either of 2 Land Rovers. However, whenever I take it for an errand or into Seattle for a show and easy parking garage access, I think "how could I ever sell this ??? "
Interior is in very good shape. Dash is covered from sun almost all the time parked either outside or the garage. "20 way" top spec seats are physically perfect, front seats have had covers since 2010.
I added a number of things I'm hoping someone will also enjoy such as the BMW window mesh sun-screens all around the 2nd and cargo rows, 3M tint all around, TWO sets of 18" factory wheels but one set are the M3 front 18x85 ET 23? flush to fender with slightly oversized 245/45-18 RFT, Winter set is RFT Nokian R5, both are sets of 5 matching. spare is mounted upright in cargo area left side.
Custom rear 2" bike rack flush tucked into lower valence.
Escort 9500ci stealth installed.
Rear camera.
Dinan ECU tune.
Almost fully optioned minus night vision, so it has HUD, 20 way seats, 2nd row side air bags, basically everything else.
Exterior "sport" pkg black trim, "Toledo Blue", "Natural Brown" interior on black with Light Poplar wood trim and shifter.
Exterior though... several dings and a couple major dents. I never repaired as they're 100% visual and are proof to a new buyer that the carfax "collision" was nothing serious other than being ugly.
Absolute pile of records all service at BMW dealers and most is at either the same NC or WA location. Turbos, HPFP, battery, lots of other engine area stuff. Some odd ball stuff too like all 4 doors vapor barriers replaced.
Exterior seems not nice enough for BAT but maybe the forum is best place for people who know what it is ?
Beautiful car. I've thought about upgrading from my 2006 E61, and if I did, this checks lots of boxes. But I just bought a first generation Cayenne as another project car, so the timing isn't right. If you're showing in the Seattle area, would be great to see in person. It's unique enough that I'd still think BaT would be a good option.
My Ride: E61, 6 Speed, Sport Package, Single Turbo
Model Year: 2008
Your car has the right colors and options for me to be interested but I cant bring myself to modify another manual E61 and not feel bad about it! I would think your car would certainly check all the boxes any enthusiast would want so BaT could be the right choice.
I think BaT has listed our chassis in much worse shape than what you describe in the past. Ultimately, what will hurt you with them is the mileage and the recorded accident. Your detailed receipts are a strong backing so that could negate the mileage ding. For the exterior, a good PDR guy and solid detail goes a long way but really depends on what you think you will get out of the sale. Spending and extra $1,000-$1500 on that may not pan out at the auction.
If you truly are in no rush and enjoy driving it. Post it on FB and deal with the tire kickers. Yeah it's a headache, but someone will eventually come along and pay to play.

I have someone local probably inspecting it Sunday. For some reason I did not get a notice about any of these replies but I can try to remember to post if that does not work out.
