I am selling the stock wheels off my 2006 M5 along with a set of Michelin PS2s with about 1000 miles on them, almost new. Upgraded to 20s, only reason why I am gettin rid of them. I would be really interested. However assuming that these have stock M5 tires they are not going to work on most E60's. And right now another member has same exact wheels powder coating black for $1600 of which you can buy these new from Gary at Newport BMW for about the same price.

 

The guy is selling his 166 wheels with pracitally new ps2 tires! How can you compare that to a guy selling his 166 wheels with not tires? Not exactly a apples to apples comparison!

 

I would agree. However if they have the stock M5 tire sizes i.e 285/35-19 & 255/40/19 from my understanding they are not going to work on E60 without rubbing issues. So the tires to an E60 owner world not be worth it. So now it's down to the rims themselves and that's where the pricing comes into play.

 

Might be worth it to a few of the lucky members on this board who have the M5.

 

Who don't already have 166 wheels?

 

Hey guys will the tires rub on all e60s or just some? will it work on a 550 ?

 

Actually I was thinking for those M5 owners who had already gone through a set of tires, they could pick these up and turn around and unload one of the set of wheels (without the almost brand new tires of course).....an inexpensive way to pickup a full set of PS2's.

There are other scenarios I could think of, but the main point of my posting was to indicate that there are E60 owners who could indeed use the wheel and tire combo in this configuration. No reason to lowball the seller just because it won't fit the majority of the models without rubbing.
