Rims are SOLD and are on their way! Can't wait to see the lips re-finished and the hoops powder coated black.....they're gonna look SICK!

well, anthony tomihama (ACS5) was not honest about the condition of these wheels/tires. he mentiond that these had at least 50% thread left: two fronts have 50% left, but the rears are COMPLETELY worn out on the inside. The two rears also have cracked sidewalls (i think it's from storage???). The rear tires will need to be replaced.

Also, there are two rims bent and not just one rim bent. the seller (ACS5) was not willing to do anything because he felt I got a good deal aready so it doesn't matter that he lied about the condition of the wheels/tires :thumbsdown:

I don't have the time or money to fix these for now so they are up for sale. would like to get what I paid, $1325 (pick-up or you pay for shipping).

On a side note, PayPal fu&*in' sucks. there were willing do a damn thing.

That sucks, but he did mention that they would need to be refinished. However, he was asking $1200...NOW your asking for $1375. IDK, but I think your going to have to eat the shipping, at least. You can't sell for more than the original seller was selling for. Especially if you think the deal was not good enough already...WTF????

I paid $1200 plus shipping: which came to $1325. just trying to get back what I paid, or as close to it as possible.

Yes, he mentioned one wheel was bent and one had peeling chrome: which was fine with me. however, there are additional issues that were not disclosed. plus, it was supposed to have 4 useable tires, but it only has 2: which will cost more money than what I anticipated and planned to spend at this time.

if you are interested in buying the wheels, I'll be happy to try and work something out with you. however, if you are posting just for the sake of posting, i don't really understand your post.

Did you use your CC to pay via Paypal? You can dispute with your CC company and they will deal with Paypal.

after a similar experience on saturday, and with the nice words of a fellow member, eghem, redeye, eghem .....my suggestion, sit on them till you have the money to do teh necessary work to them, you really really wont get a deal that good on a 3 piece wheel....

not sure how much it cost to fix wheels these days, but to fix 2 bent wheels, 100-200 each, refinish the chrome lip on one, another 100, powder-coat the faces 60-100/wheel, looking at maybe what 500-1000 on top of the 1300. Can't you find some used three piecers for that kind of money, add a couple hundo to get a new set on a kick ass deal....

that's actually a question, because i really don't know the answer.....

i feel for you man, i actually gave an offer for these wheels....figured it would cost a bit to get them up to par, but good luck man, hope it works itself out.....
