i offered him 2300 when they were first up for sale and he wouldnt sell them to me, said thats too low and they were worth more than that...this was in january...
you gotta price to sell...nobody is going to pay 3 grand for wheels when a lot of others sell for 2-2300 with good tires in this economy...plus the no shipping thing?, if someone offered me that much money and all i had to do was box and drop off at fedex, id do it in a second...
i think he even posted that theyre still up for last minute local buyers after he said pending sale...
i guarantee you if he puts them at 2000, theyd go in a second...his asking was 3100, then 2700, then 2500, now 2300...suck it up its only a few hundred bux, one months car payment...sell it and move on.

50% IS a great deal, I agree with you. But not in a market that sells for 60-65% off. And def not in a market where 2-3 piece wheels are readily available whether it be used or new. And new can be had at a discount as it is. I'm just saying, you got a feel for the market a few times, but it took you a while to budge. I know the fear of starting at 2300 and being duped to 1900, but sometimes you just gotta let gooooooo and let someone else have the better end of the deal. at the end of the day, they're just wheels man. its not gold.

People need to realize that your current price is pretty fair.
I just sold my DPEs (see sig), for $3200 shipped. I'm not sure how much your rims were new, but my DPEs were over 7k meaning I sold them for about 45-50% of their new value.

I think everyone is getting confused about how to discount. A value on used items cannot be based on the retail "new" price. As soon as wheels are mounted they are used and cannot be resold for anywhere near the new price. They only decrease in price with every mile, nick, scuff, scratch and bend.
