To be honest, the tires really weren't stretched all that far. I ran a 225/35/19 on a 19x10 on my S4 and did a Sebring track day with that and never had a problem. I had 3 passenegers in my car at various times through out the day and was taking corners in excess of 100 without issues. I know plenty of porsche guys who run stretched tires and I have stretched tires many times for several years and have never had a single problem. I usually keep the tires around 40 psi all around.
The wheels have a chromed lip not polished and cleared.
