Hey guys, i thought maybe this will help the forum a little and help the buyer or seller that only wants to pick up items or just want to sell thier items locally without having the trouble of shipping it. If you guys dont like it, Its cool, but i hope this will help some of us.

I used to live in "South Carolina," but now I live in "Southern California." 
Seriously, your SoCal For Sale idea would make more sense if it were a folder, as opposed to a thread. (Threads with stuff for sale usually describe the item in the subject line, making it easy to select which thread you want to read.) Not sure if the admins would consider geographically splitting up the Classifieds section? There's certainly some arguments for and against. Admins...?

HA! I agree with GoRovers. It makes more sense and easier for people to find items when the for sale part is noted in the title of the thread instead of burried in something like this. And if everyone updates where they're from in their sig, people would know where the product's located and then discuss options such as pick up or delivery with the seller.

I don't think this will happen, since it's not a helpfull idea.
It is easier to create a thread for each item you want to sell or buy, and put it in the titles description, that this is for local pick up only.
Having a thread like this here, you don't know what is for sale until you have read the whole thread. So, this is way more reading and scrolling, than doing it, as we currently do. One thread for each item. Just add "local pick up SoCal only" to the title in the decsription field.
