My Ride: 2005 545i with Sport Pkg, Nav, HUD, Cold Weather Pkg, Rear Shades
Edit: They used the BMW 325i to conduct the test.
Goodyear Eagle F1 was rated the best overall.
What do you guys think of the reviews? Agree, disagree?? Personally, I don't have experience with any of the tires, so I couldn't say. But this review might nudge me in a particular direction for my next set (still a long ways off considering I only have 5000 miles on the car).

While the weight did not apparently factor into the rankings, they did include tire weights in the vital statistics table.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
I'm sure that the permormance features of all these tires are good enough.
And how the tire performs on wet roads is essential (and life saving)
but after that the most important features for me are:
1) Tramlining. The tire should not be affected easily by bad roads!
2) Noice. The less the better!
3) Comfort. A softer tire means better riding comfort?
The ContiSportContact2 would probably be my choice, it was also the lightest (22 lbs).
"It felt soft...", could mean, in my mind, comfort!
About Potenza RE050A was said; "...its lazy feel was a result of being
designed for a compliant ride".
This also sounds good to me .
Anyone else for comfortable and NOT noicy tires?
