My Ride: 535d Sport in Carbon Black / high gloss shadow line and beige leather / dark poplar with professional nav, bluetooth phone prep, CD changer, bi-xenon adaptive headlamps, servotronic steering, folding mirrors, heated comfort seats, TV, extended voice control and Logic 7 hifi.

[/quote]That isn't what EBMCS03 said. He said they chose to compare the 545i against the 535d, a reference to the uncertaininty voiced in posts over the last few days on this forum regarding which petrol E60 they would pit against which diesel E60.
And isn't it interesting that we never got to see what time the Stig managed in the 545i round the track.... or that they didn't put the professional driver in the 535d and the journo in the 545i - I wonder what would have happened?
Of course, we know that a 545i cannot run against a 535d at Santa Pod or else the world ends or something - at least I assume that is the case given the inability of anyone with a 545i to turn up when a 535d is present!

They put it on the track and it was as fast as an M3, 350z, RX8 and faster than Ford Focus RS, Lotus Esprit V8, Audi TT V6, Noble, Mercedes SL 55 AMG, Volkswagen Golf R32, Cadillac CTS-V, Holden Monaro, Volvo S60R, Ferrari 575 and Lotus Elise.

[/quote]No I didnt say that they chose the 535 over the 545... I was excited taht they chose to test the 535 Versus the 545... did they do a test on the 545? I dont see it on the test lap results... I wanted to see how the 545 does...
Edit: Just read what clived said ^^^ Boooo they didnt test the 545??!?!?!! Now I'm not as excited to watch it anymore...
