Uh O... so are you going to trade in your 550 for the 535?

Best line (about the twin-turbo inline 6 cylinder engine):
"The engine is so good that you could drop it into a rusty Chevy Cavalier and you?d still want the car."

In 2010 I will be driving a diesel. I intend to go for the best value between BMW, Audi, and MB. Since I have an affinity for BMW design and engineering, it will likely be the F10 with a 535 diesel. Maybe an Audi A8 because the pricing is so close with a loaded 5 er and the Audi design is quite elegant. I would have bought a BMW 535 diesel, this time around if it were available. I am quite happy with my 550 Sport. However as an architect I would like to be more environmentally responsible. My buildings are environmentally responsible therefore my car should reflect that.
Cheers

I am a fan of architecture and have worked with Frank Gehry and his team on a yet to be built winery as well as KPMB in Toronto . I would enjoy seeing some of your work as well, any chance you would share this with us or pm me ?
Cheers

I had a real strong feeling that you were an architect or in the trade somehow. Your salutation is rampant in the architectural industry in vancouver. I swear 85% of the architects I talk with on the phone end their conversations with that.
Cheers (this will be the only time I use it.)

This is interesting that you mention that. Its seems wrong to show up at LEED meeting with a V8. As a businessmen I was concerned about the image that my new car will present. It had a small input into my decision of 535 over 550. I will still probably end up purchasing a prius or a smart for my company to give me the option of presenting the right green image at the appropriate time.
Frank , get a fold up bike and keep it in the trunk.. then park out of sight ....the green/sustainability clients will think you're a God, I actually have a good friend here in the communications business that has 2 SUVs and.... a bike , its a great routine to see in action.
And sorry .... Cheers
PS I said fan.....I'm not on the team, just interested

The Times writes about cars like CR writes about cars. Never with passion, only about the "PC" agenda.
