NY Times Article on the BMW Welt
A really wonderful building for taking delivery of a great car is nearing completion in Munich. I am very envious of e60.net's own JSpira who will be the first to take delivery on October 15. I am going to walk around the outside of the building on August 2 after I take delivery of my 550 sport in Munich.

Since I am an Architect I would love to see this great building. If anyone from BMW is reading this please, please contact me and help me get a sneak peak of the interior of this amazing building.

Just to clarify something from phardings post, my delivery is on the 23. October, which is the first day of deliveries at the Welt.

Below is a photo of me standing at the place where my delivery will take place in October.

 

One thing I noticed about the NY Times article: it cites a cost of ?250 million, while BMW previously told me ?100 million.

 

Also Euro Delivery Cost will go up to help pay for it.

 

This requires looking into but I am not sure that we will immediately see a jump in pricing as they are trying to increase the business.
