It was the 535d vs the 545i. Clarkson was driving the 535d and the Stig was in the 545i. The petrol won, but it was quite close. Overall, Jeremy seemed quite impressed.

The Stig took it around the track and got a 1:31:8. As fast as an M3, 350z, RX8 and faster than Ford Focus RS, Lotus Esprit V8, Audi TT V6, Noble, Mercedes SL 55 AMG, Volkswagen Golf R32, Cadillac CTS-V, Holden Monaro, Volvo S60R, Ferrari 575 and Lotus Elise. That is amazing!
