You know, they made me feel special when I saw the amazing 5-series commercial that said "perfect 50/50 weight distribution, dakota leather seats" and the awesome Yin-Yang in the sand dunes and then they finish it off by saying...... "Performance Now.....is the 5 series."
THEN......... a few weeks later I see another commercial but with a 3-series and they say.......... "Performance now.........is the 3 series."
ITS MARKETING MIND GAMES I SAY!
P.S. - Anyone somewhat infatuated with the twin-turbo 135i? That little thing with the M package is seriously sexy looking.

Yeah, the 135i is a serious sleeper. No one thinks it's as fast as it is. I would say it can do 0-60 in 5.0 or under unmodded. If cars that came as hatchbacks came in the design of the 135i, I would probably like them more. And yes, I know the 1 series has a hatch version.

BMW is known to underrate their cars. HP is above 300 and so is torque, and the 0-60 is probably in the same boat as well. I've seen times posted of 4.9 or so before. While it depends on the driver, I'm pretty sure, without mods, a 135i is 5.0 or below.

I would get the 135 sport in a heart beat if it only didn't have those headlights... but its a nice car. Bc of the HLs tho, I'd instead get a 335coupe...

Bottom line: the 135 is a serious sleeper rocket.
If the particular ttI6s in the 135i and 335i are making exactly the same power, the 135 should accelerate a little faster due to its better power to weight ratio. According to R&T, 335i Coupe weighs 3,570 pounds while the 135i Coupe weighs 3,340 pounds.
To me, the price difference between 135 and 335 is not that greater and I like the 335's greater room and (to me), better looks. I'd go with the 335i if I had to chose between 135 and 335.
