Aside from a few derivative elements that are no doubt the fault of the artist who produced this rendering - rather than actual design elements that will make it to production - specifically, the Audiness of the outside lines of the brake ducts in the front bumper, headlights a la Hyundai Sonata and Acura TL exhaust to name a few - it is a very convincing strategy. Of course, it will probably be priced in the 6 figures (it being a 6 series and all), so it still is not a convincing business model. But a cute idea nonetheless...

Sorry but these are renderings of the f10 that never saw light of day...Roundel has had a number of stories on the possibility of a 4door 6 series over the past several months. If it was built it would be a fusion of the redesigned 6 and the CS, none of which are shown here...we'll have to wait and see, but as bmw now feels the need to have a car in every possible segment(as well as making up their own that perhaps no one wants), I'm sure they'll wind up introducing this to "compete" with the cls' of the world. :wacko:
