AGREE! Faster but not as much they showed it in the end. We've seen how fast can a 645i be vs the 535d haven't we?!

Really fair comparison;

A 3.0 litre R6 diesel against a 4.4 litre V8 gasoline engine

On the track the gas V8 is a bit faster but in real life the diesel torque is great!


Someone may even think about the future environment.

The diesels are equipped whith particle filtres and the EU comsumption is for a
550iA is 11,1 l/100 km vs. 535dA 8,0 l/100 km, about a third less!
