In this week's Autocar there is a comparison test of the 530d vs E Class and Jaguar diesels.
Interesting conclusion:-
1st Jaguar
2nd BMW
3rd Mercedes
Jaguar wins on overall quiteness and refinement whereas the BMW is quoted as the best drivers car with the highest quality interior. It's one of those tests where if you read the article you expect the BMW to win than like a strange boxing points decision the Jaguar wins. Left me wondering how much the conclusion was influenced by mis-placed patriotism.

So it's due 20 June eh? Bet you can't wait.
Promise I'll get round to reviewing L7 properly for you soon (preview: it's very, very good).
Oh, and those interior pics.
Damn, so much to do, so little time....

Hiya
Just picked up their demo....bit of an odd spec but nevertheless WOW what an engine!!!!!
it has the basic trim with black leather and it is plastic Cack....must get wood of some sort. also, its silver (lightest) and I know its not the colour for me.....back to liking the titanium grey!
more impressions soon

I had the same problem with the titanium silver and silver grey but finally decided to get the titanium silver. IMO it comes down to the fact whether you get a lot of sunshine or cloudy days where you live, if it's cloudy, the titan looks great, if the sun shines the grey seems to become a lot nicer. Just my 2 cents.

But...her name is on the lease too, so she has veto power.
T-5 days and it's killing me.
