I would place E60 in the first, followed by A6 and lastly E-320.

A good article that provides a balanced view. The key point is that they pick the A6 as the best all around car. At least they have the sense to note that the E60 is the choice for those who like to drive hard!

Too bad Automobile Magazine (as have many others) don't know how to compare apples to apples: the new engines for BOTH MB & BMW haven't been put into production.

It is simply not yet a fair comparison.
