Hey e60,
Just like to hear your honest opinions on this coupe, i might get my hands on it.
i) How does it handle?
ii) Acceleration
iii) Comments on interior and exterior
iv) Pros and Cons.
I need your input, it is extremely valuable

I looked the specs up on this car, and it's hard to believe a 3.2L I6 with no bi-turbo can put up such good numbers. How does it do 0-60 in 4.9 secs.? Why couldn't the 535 or even the 530 do something similar without the turbos?

Weight - at around 3200 lbs the Z4 M is much lighter than the 535.

What I was getting at was why do two turbos bump the 530 to a 535, 0-60 from 6.5 to about 5.5, but the Z4M doesn't need any turbos and puts out a 4.9. Right, weight is an issue, and obviously, I wouldn't expect a 535 to do a 4.9 with a Z4 engine, but what about the 135 then? Why does it's TT I6, need the TT to do what the Z4M does?

As for the 135, even with the twin turbos the 135 engine output falls some way short of that generated by the Z4M engine. A remap would probably take care of the shortfall, however!

Hi there,
Please allow me to give you my opinion on the M-Coupe, since I've driven it sereval times (and pushed it hard during the drives!).
Imo it's a great car to drive, but it's not a comfortable car. It has very stiff suspension, which I like. I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver, but it's one hell-of-a fun-car to drive. Great engine, great steering response, everything you're looking for in a 'weekend car'!
To be honest, the interior is a bit dated (it's all based on the E46), but due to the 'older' technique, you'll be sure to have little technical failures!
