X6 xdrive 50i beats maserati on track?

As much as i would have liked to show you the link i couldn't find the story with google search so in a way i'm asking if you guys have heard about BMW X6 V8 biturbo beating the Maserati (grand sport i suspect) on a track. If i remember correctly ythe rumour said smth like 3 seconds.
