Nice pics but I'm still struggling to figure out where this fits in the consumer's selection, lots of power, cramped back seat, very little storage , not an off roader , big price point ?? This is one that I'm really waiting to see the sales results from. The 1 series is a no brainer for me but this ???? I note that my dealer tells me it's a "niche car" and that it's not about selling large volumes .................. Gee I bet the shareholders would love to hear that.....................

Nice brochure, thanks for posting it.

At 5269 pounds for the V8 model, it's no lightweight......

Like Westcoast, I'm having a bit of trouble thinking of who this X6 will appeal to..??

I guess I'll assume someone at BMW strategic planning knows more than I do..

I remember the New Coke fiasco well. Both wife & I are severe Coke drinkers, and we signed the letter of protest against the New stuff at the time - Coke caved in on it as we know, and then Coke in Canada did a poster with many (all) of the protester's names (in very fine print) on it, and we sent in and got a poster. Took us hours to find our names, they were so small and there was so many.

But New Coke was a terrible tasting disaster, and maybe BMW will have to do a poster too...???

What an awesome looking vehicle. I don't think BMW will have that hard of a time selling the X6s, look at how people pay $100k+ for Porsche's Cayenne Turbos! The X6's new bad ass V8 is certainly attractive as well as the engine from the 335s. I have a feeling that the TT I6s will make it's way into the X3s as well and even the X5s.

I'm told that the V8 will be at the same approximate price point as the 650 Coupe............. so it's not cheap............ and quite a bit more than an X5 for, dare I say , a lot less....OK the engine will be cool until it's in all cars
