when i press the unlock button on the key fob, the exterior lights do not illuminate like they do on my e60. I have looked through the settings on the idrive and havent been able to find anything to enable.

also, i didnt get the x5 with comfort access, so the key has to be in the ignition. my wife has several keys on her key chain and has already scratched the dash below the ignition.

any suggestions?
