I'd go with the Cayman too. It is not even close to half the price of a 911. In fact it is more like a price difference between a 550 and 530. I have a 911, and the exhaust is way too tame(it needs to be much louder at lower rpm). Ride is harsh, but I love it.

The RR sport has such a cheap interior it would be a travesty if it won!!
Cayman S is great, but with a 911 you can get the dog and kid in the back and the monthly figures are nearly the same so why get the Cayman?
As an all round car of the year I would probably have to say the 3 series. Passat is lovely inside, but so bloody boring to drive, and the rest just don't excite me at all. The M Class if I could afford to run the AMG version I guess, but the rest???
Out of all those, if I had to have one, it would be the Cayman S for me.
