Tracking Production for new X5

My Ride: 2009 550i sports, Nav, logic Best E60 yet 2004 545i, sports pkg, logic 7 steptronic, rear shade,orient blue with beige interior, blue tooth enabled Razer Phone. 2004 X5 3.0, sports pkg, stepronic, summer pkg. imola red. 2006 Mini Cooper S, manual, sports, prem pkg, nav and kitchen sink.

My new X5 is being built this week, my salesmen has givem me the last 7 digits of the serial number, my questions is now what? I know theres a way to track a car from overseas but I'm not sure how to do this? Anyone, I'm getting that new car itch......HELP

You can do it from the owners circle on BMWUSA.com but you need the production number, not the last 7 digits of the vin. Maybe he gave you the production number? Try it.

I believe the X5 is built in the U.S. (Spartanburg SC), not overseas.

Thanks, I know it's made in SC, what I ment was that I knew BMW's could be tracked while on route from overseas, anyway I found my car on the Owners Circle. Thanks for your help.
